The Holy See of Antioch Annual Holy Day – 13th October
Today The Holy See of Antioch celebrate its annual Holy Day on 13th October
The Holy See of Antioch traces its origins to around the year 33A.D. via its Apostolic Lines of
Succession held by all its Bishops and the Gentile Christians in the Ancient Principality of
Antioch, now Antakya in south east Turkey, with inextricable links to Knights Templar
The historical ancestry of David, King of Mann, carried dynastic succession from King Fulk of
Jerusalem from 1118 A.D., and has juridical legitimacy under both International and Canon Law.
The historical records show evidence that dynastic succession of the historical Principality of
Antioch from 1089 A.D. was vested in the Kings of Jerusalem in 119 A.D. and continued
thereafter, whereas The Holy See is a Sovereign Ecclesiastical Institution, which predates
modern secular governments and carries Independent Sovereign Status as a Nation-State,
subject to International and Canon Law in its own right.
Today we honour the memory of the Knights Templar
Ephesians 6:10-17
Finally, my Brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day and, having done all, to stand.
Stand, therefore, having your loins girt about with Truth,
and having the breastplate of righteousness,
and your feet shod with the preparation of the Gospel of Peace,
above all, taking the Shield of Faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
And take the Helmet of Salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.
Today we will take the cup of memory in honour of Knights Templar .
To the memory of Moses, Aholiab and Bezaleel, the three Grand Masters who presided over the Holy Lodge.
To the memory of Solomon, King of Israel, Hiram, King of Tyr and Hiram Abiff, the three Grand Masters who presided over the Grand Lodge.
To the memory of Zerubbabel, the prince of the people, Haggai the prophet and Joshua, the son of Josedech, the High Priest, the three Grandmasters who presided over the Grand or Royal Lodge.
To the memory of St. John the Baptist, the forerunner of Christ.
To the memory of St. John the Evangelist, the Beloved Apostle of Our Lord, who finished by his learning what St. John the Baptist had commenced by his zeal.
To the pious memory of all those valiant knights who sealed their faith with their blood, under the banner of the Cross.
To all Knights Templar, wheresoever dispersed over the face of the earth or water.
Closing Prayer and Blessing:
Do not be anxious over anything,
but in everything by prayer and supplication along with thanksgiving,
let your petitions be made known to God
and the peace of God that excels all thought and understanding
will guard your heart and your mental powers
by means of Christ Jesus, “Our Great Emmanuel”
Phil 4: 4-7
May God’s peace be with you all:
In the Name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, Forever and ever
